Community renewable energy project

The Emerald Primary School solar panels are installed. This project is an innovative community funded project by the Dandenong Ranges Renewable Energy Association.

Solar panels are purchased by the Association from Member contributions. These contributions are equivalent to the purchase price of one solar panel or half of one solar panel. Those Members are paid for the electricity those panels produce.
